For close to 30 years as an Award-Winning Investment Banker, Tom Budd was involved in over 1000 financial deals, and was lead financial advisor on over 600 mergers, takeovers and restructurings. His success was undeniable. But after close to 30 years of making deals, he ‘hit the wall’, and ultimately ‘crashed. Tom has spent the past 10 years practicing Mental Health and Wellness along with his desire to ‘Give Back’, forming his Philanthropic Foundation. The Thomas Alan Budd Foundation serves dozens of community groups in Canada. Tom’s biggest challenges came tragically in 2015 and 2017 when his two sons took their own lives and today Tom works mindfully every day to create conversations with anyone who wants to talk.
